Special Needs Planning Workshops
Special Needs Planning is essential to protect and plan for your disabled child or grandchild. Most families know that not having the right plans in place can be detrimental to people with special needs, but they don’t know where to begin.
This workshop provides a comprehensive overview of what families need to know about special needs planning, including such essentials as protecting important government benefits like SSI and Medicaid; avoiding Medicaid “paybacks” to the state; constructing a will that doesn’t conflict with a person’s ability to access government services; constructing and funding of a Special Needs Trust; and how to provide guidance to future caregivers.
This workshop is presented by Attorney Claudia I. Pringles, whose practice includes Special Needs Planning and Estate Planning. Also contributing to this workshop will be Financial Advisor Gabriel Lajeunesse, who has experience helping families plan for their future and for the lifelong needs of their disabled family member.
